Testimonials
Hear from our satisfied clients.
My family has used Mike and Riven Wood several times now: from handcrafted, laser etched Christmas presents to carpentry repair on a 50+ year old precious piano. The professionalism, skill, care, and attention to detail is unmatched. It’s clear how much love for the craft and expertise is poured into every project. What makes Mike and Riven Wood stand out is also their commitment to our community. Mike has made several handmade pieces to donate to nonprofits to help the community drive funds for underserved populations. You won’t be disappointed working with Mike, as he will help you bring your vision and ideas to life.

Rivenwood has been my go-to for custom woodwork since 2019. As an artist, I often work with large, unconventional canvas sizes, and finding frames has always been a challenge—especially for pieces like a 4’ x 6’ canvas that had even been stretched crookedly. Mike not only created stunning custom frames that truly elevate my work, but he also repaired my canvas with incredible care and skill. Beyond framing, his craftsmanship is exceptional. He built a beautiful live-edge end table with blue resin for me that’s both functional and a statement piece. Most recently, I was searching for a sculptural wall element, and Mike collaborated with me to bring my vision to life—cutting a ribbon-shaped wood canvas that became the perfect foundation for a custom wall hanging. Rivenwood consistently delivers artistry, creativity, and quality. I can’t recommend them enough.

Riven Wood did an outstanding job on our custom challenge coin wall and four dartboard frames. The craftsmanship and attention to detail exceeded our expectations, and everything turned out exactly how we envisioned. Great communication, a pleasure to work with and high-quality work. Highly recommend!
